What is BodyTite?

How does BodyTite work?

BodyTite uses radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL), a technology that gently melts and removes fat, coagulates blood vessels, and tightens the skin all in one session. The probe works both above and below the skin, tightening from the inside and triggering new collagen and elastin production from the outside. The most common areas that BodyTite treats are:

What is a BodyTite treatment like?

BodyTite treatments are non-surgical and typically last 30 minutes or less. They are usually performed with local anesthesia (and mild sedation if needed). After the area is numbed with local anesthesia, very small incisions will be made for the probe to enter and deliver the radiofrequency heat energy. The BodyTite technology makes it easy for the doctor to monitor the heat levels during the procedure to keep patients safe. This monitoring also ensures the area isn’t over- or under-treated. After the probe has done its work inside the skin, it will be passed over the skin externally to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Patients report that BodyTite treatments are pain-free and very tolerable.

Recovery and results

Depending on the area you have treated, you may be given dressing to wear for a few days. Most patients resume normal activities within three to five days, and exercise can typically be resumed at three weeks.

Early results from your BodyTite procedure can be seen at about two weeks, once the bruising and swelling have gone down. The final results become apparent in three to six months, but the collagen production will continue for about a year.
