What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a completely non-surgical facial rejuvenating and skin contouring procedure that uses radiofrequency to tone the skin from the inside, tightening the structure that supports the skin. How does FaceTite work?

FaceTite uses radiofrequency heat energy to tighten the skin from the inside out, within the dermis (where wrinkles and scars begin). A probe is inserted under the skin and energizes the tissue, which responds to heat and stimulates it to repair. The collagen shrinks and begins to rebuild, tightening the structure that supports the skin.

Fat is also liquified (melted) at the same time and suctioned out of the body. The heat energy is focused, precise, and controlled so that it heats only the fat cells and doesn’t cause any damage to any surrounding tissues. Dr. Paul will be able to monitor the skin temperature during the procedure for extra safety. The result is a more attractive, more contoured appearance of the face and neck.

How many treatments will I need?

Every patient is different and will require a different amount of treatments based on their skin laxity and aesthetic goals. However, for the majority of patients, only one treatment is needed.

FaceTite Recovery and Results

After your FaceTite procedure, your skin will immediately tighten by 40%, with the new collagen continuing to build and show improvement over the next three to six weeks. Some swelling and bruising may be expected.
We usually advise patients to wear a dressing for three to four days to keep swelling down, but you will be able to be up and about the next day. FaceTite results can last for up to five years with a healthy lifestyle.
