If your skin needs a pick-me-up, Morpheus8™ is a beautifully effective maintenance treatment. This procedure goes way beyond the performance of microneedling to deliver radiant, youthful results.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a skin rejuvenation procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology as a powerful team to re-shape the tissue under the skin and stimulate collagen production. Fractional remodeling and contouring at its finest, Morpheus8 effectively and consistently produces smoother, more youthful, and tighter skin without damaging surrounding areas to achieve beautiful and satisfying results.

What does Morpheus8 treat?

Morpheus8 can treat any area of the body that would benefit from surface contouring. The most commonly treated areas include:

  • Wrinkles and lines of the face
  • Discolored areas of the skin
  • Skin texture and quality
  • Crepey skin
  • Acne scarring
  • Loose skin of the face, neck, and abdomen

How Morpheus8 works

Morpheus8 utilizes both radiofrequency energy and microneedling, although the gold-plated steel micro-pins are longer than those used in traditional microneedling—which means that they penetrate deeper for more effective results. These longer needles are able to perform deep adipose dermal remodeling, distributing the RF energy in depths of 2 millimeters, 3 millimeters, or 4 millimeters. This RF energy heats up your tissue to trigger collagen and elastin production, and also tightens fibers and contours fat at the same time. This results in more toned, firmer skin.

Why get Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is an excellent option for those interested in rejuvenating and revitalizing areas of their face and body affected by age or other factors. It has the advantage of “color-blind technology”, which makes it useful for all skin types.

Its unique properties reduce the risk of post-inflammatory scarring or hyperpigmentation that is commonly seen with other skin treatment on those with darker skin tones. Morpheus8 is also an excellent addition to platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies for those interested in optimal results.

Morpheus8 treatment details

Morpheus8 is performed in the comfort of one of our beautiful offices. It’s done under local anesthesia, which minimizes any discomfort as the micro-pins work on the targeted areas to remodel deep layers of the skin. During the treatment, different energies may be used, depending on your areas of concern. Because there are no incisions, there is no scarring. Downtime is minimal, if there is any at all. Depending on the area or areas to be treated, one to three sessions may be required. We will discuss how many sessions you will need during your consultation.

Downtime and recovery

Because Morpheus8 is non-surgical, there’s little downtime afterwards. Most patients are even able to go right back to work after their appointment.

Some patients experience pinpoint bleeding right after the treatment, but this subsides within an hour. Some patients also look and feel as though their skin is sunburned, and this can last for a week. Avoiding sunlight during this recovery period is important.
