What is a Silhouette InstaLift treatment like?
Treatments for Silhouette InstaLift last about 30-45 minutes and are performed in our office. When you arrive, areas of your face will be marked so that symmetrical results can be achieved. Local anesthesia will be applied to the insertion and exit points on your face, and the face will then be prepped with sterile solution.
One side of the face is done at a time. The insertion point is made with a needle in the mid-face, and this will be where the threads are pulled until they exit at the exit point at the hairline.
Patients report fairly minimal pain, although because they are awake during the procedure, they are aware of a clicking or pulling during treatment, and can sometimes feel their face getting tighter. Silhouette InstaLift can be combined with other treatments such as fillers and skincare procedures.
